Appointments are all made through Geelong Paediatric Group rooms in Geelong. When an appointment is booked, a confirmation letter and medical questionarie are sent out to the address given on the referral letter. We ask that the questionaire is returned to the rooms as soon as possible and no later than 2 weeks before the appointment.
Two days before the appointment, an SMS reminder is sent to the nominated mobile number on the child’s record. You can reply to the SMS with a “Y” and this confirms the appointment in our system.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call the rooms as soon as possbile to cancel or move it. We sometimes have quite a long wait to see the paediatricians and these cancelled appointments can be offered to other patients on the paediatrician’s waiting list.
If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a charge may be made.
